FAX has been a prolific electronic musician, remixer and producer for more than 20 years. From minimal techno to contemplative landscapes, the work of FAX is distinguished by its rich sound design and detailed musicianship. His music has been released all around the globe on labels such as Traum, Level (DE), SEM (FR), Static Discos (MX) among many others. As an art director has designed music sleeves for The Leaf Label (UK) and Khoi Khoi (FR).

RODOLFO IBARRA

(Mexicali, Mexico 1980)

Sound Artist and Bassist. Played in bands as diverse as Lazer Punks Maniqui Lazer, Native-Psych Rock outfit Rancho Shampoo & The Indian Dub Orchestra and post-punk band Silent that have taken him to play in festivals such as CMJ in NYC, NRML in Monterrey and Mexico City, All My Friends in Tijuana, Doña Pancha Fest in Guadalajara plus tour all over the US and Mexico.

As a solo project, Rodo creates layers of sound through found objects, field recordings and contact mics processed through a chain a pedals and live improvisation. He has collaborated with various musicians and non musicians (including dance troupes and painters) across the US, Mexico and Vietnam.

FAX; músico y productor electrónico prolífico que lleva mas de 20 años de carrera. Su sonido va desde el minimal techno hasta paisajes contemplativos. El trabajo de FAX se distingue por un sonido amplio y una musicalidad detallada. Su música ha sido editada alrededor del mundo en sellos como Traum, Level (DE), SEM (FR) y Static Discos (MX) entre otros. Como director de arte ha diseñado portadas de discos para The Leaf Label (UK) y Khoi Khoi (FR).
