Broken is an experimental duo based in Milano, Italy. “Red Star” is their second release, after “Capadokya”. The album is strongly inspired by the Russian writer Alexander Bogdanov, and was recorded between Milan (Italy) and Fuerteventura (Spain).

Matteo Sandri, aka Matteo Sand, is a sound engineer and sound designer; in 2016 he released an electronic solo album called "Run In The Sun", using mainly modular synthesizers. The second album, “Tobia”, was released in 2020.

Matteo Cantaluppi is a producer and sound engineer; in 2015 he released a symphonic-electronic album with Baffo Banfi ("Biglietto per l'Inferno" founding member and Klaus Schulze's collaborator in the 70’s) called "Frontera". He is also member of the ambient trio "PCM". He released two solo ambient albums, “Di Ferro e Cuoio” and “Frantic”
