about

To Break A Mirror is a collection of seven compositions by the Brazilian, Chicago-based musician wøunds.

Most of these pieces started as field recordings, which were later processed and layered utilizing a modular synthesizer. Being both disorienting and serene, chaotic and subtle, To Break A Mirror encourages the listener to immerse themselves within a hybrid world of synthetic and organic sounds.

This album would not have been the same without Lawrence English’s attention to detail while mastering this project.
